    1. Hi Craig! They’re 4×4″ and about 3/16″ thick. I’m replacing the clear acrylic hook thingie on the back so that it can hang by a hook. The first time I adhered them I didn’t account for the fact that the glass is not evenly distributed throughout, so it didn’t hang straight without museum wax. And because I wasn’t confident in the clear glue that I used. I’m testing another one in February. -Andrea

  1. Hi Andrea,
I am a scientist from the Keck School of Medicine who every day walked by your beautiful artwork (based on conversations with Dr. Francesca Mariani) displayed in our Hoyt Gallery. I never got around to letting you know how wonderful your glass artwork is! Just plain gorgeous!
    Best wishes,

    1. Hello Dr. Offringa!
Thanks so much for your kind remark. I will NEVER forget the amazing bone healing research that Dr. Mariani is doing in her lab … the magic of seeing those cells through the high-powered microscope… the colors! It has definitely changed the way I consume information and it is still impacting my work. I’m experimenting with new ways to display the glass, so any time you are in downtown LA, please feel free to drop into my studio on the mezzanine level of the Last Bookstore at 5th and Spring. I’ll happily give you a little studio tour! Your appreciation and wonderful note means a lot to me.
